Our relaxed and natural style captures the essence of your little one in timeless way. We understand that new parenthood can be overwhelming, so our sessions are designed to be short and sweet, lasting around 30 minutes. Family and siblings are more than welcome to join in on the fun and create memories that will last a lifetime. Our warm and welcoming studio is located in Harrison, ACT and is filled with natural light to provide the perfect backdrop for your newborn's first photo shoot.

Our mini sessions are suitable for both younger and older babies, up to 16 weeks old. We believe in capturing your baby in their most natural state, allowing their personality to shine through in every shot. Booking your mini newborn photography session has never been easier with our online booking and payment system. Simply choose a time and date that works best for you, and we'll take care of the rest.

You'll receive a minimum of 25 professionally edited, high resolution digital images delivered via online gallery, giving you the freedom to print and share as you please.

What is the difference between a regular newborn session and a mini newborn session?

The main differences are time and variety of poses with baby, both sessions allow for family photos. Our regular newborn sessions can last up to 2 hours, this takes into account a more relaxed pace with time for feeding, cuddling and settling. We can also choose up to 5 different swaddled and unswaddled poses with bub by themselves. Whereas a mini session is a short, fuss free session, accounting for around 2 different poses with bub by themselves and some family photos in around 30 minutes, a mini session is also great for bubs over 4 weeks old who are more alert!

Can I bring my older children or grandparents?

Of course! We love to capture this special time with the family so we encourage the whole family to join us for famiily photos which are usually captured at the start of the session for the first 10 minutes.

Can I bring my dog?

Further to the above, we consider dogs part of the family! So we’d love to see your dog in the studio. Please make a note that you will be bringing your dog for your session when booking in.

What do I bring?

We want you and your baby to feel as comfortable as possible during your session. Here are some tips to help you prepare:

• Feed baby right before you arrive so they have a full tummy and are ready to be photographed. 

• Bring everything you need to keep baby relaxed. We are breast, bottle and dummy friendly - whatever it takes!

• Bring baby ready in a cute outfit so we won't have to unsettle them by changing their clothes and can get the shoot started straight away.

We offer full change table and bathroom facilities in the studio, free wifi, a microwave, fridge, snacks and warm drinks. There's also a toy box and children's library to keep older siblings entertained.

What do I wear?

A common question is “What do I wear?” The answer is, something that makes you feel comfortable. Smart casual looks great but avoid overly patterned designs. If you are unsure, bring a couple of options and we can help you decide. We've attached a handy guide to help you colour coordinate your outfits. And don't worry, our studio is always climate controlled for the perfect temperature.

Where is the studio?

We are located on the corner of Flemington Road & Windjana Street in Harrison, ACT. On-street parking is free and usually available just outside the front door.
